Anita Cremers is a professor (lector) at the research group Co-Design of Utrecht University of Applied Sciences. She has studied Language and Literary Studies at Tilburg University and received her PhD on human-machine natural language dialogue at Eindhoven University of Technology. Subsequently she has worked for KPN Research and TNO on the user-centered design of user interfaces. Her current research focuses on inclusive design. In her projects, mainly in the health care domain, she involves diverse user groups, both professionals and experts by experience, such as low literates, people with cognitive impairment or low socio-economic status, in the design process.
