Smart Energy Cities: an integral approach

  • ENERGY AND BEHAVIOUR
  • DESIGN FOR CHANGE
  • WORKSHOP

Energy transition is complex; how can we develop services, technical solutions, communication and interventions that truly support citizens to adopt new energy solutions, change behaviour and reduce energy consumption? How can we work together towards sustainable urban energy solutions?

Smart Energy Cities (SmEC) has developed an integral approach and a practical toolkit for municipalities, grass root initiatives, technical advisors and (service) designers. To gain relevant insights into needs and social structures in neighbourhoods and design scenarios, interventions and transition roadmaps. For more information: www.smartenergycities.nl

In the workshop the SmEC approach will be used to explore solutions for our own houses and neighbourhoods.
