Quality of life may sometimes require interventions that create a tension field with our (societal) value to ensure length of life when we can. The need of power assist products emerges frequently at work environments that require a high amount of physical workload. Examples of these environments could be healthcare or situations in which the person itself is physically limited (revalidation). Electric supportive trolleys, hoists or wheelchairs are examples of products that have proven to be successful in addressing this need. They are some examples of the products showcased in the portfolio of Indes, and are being developed in close collaboration with several Universities and knowledge institutes.
