'Community based development'
Space&Matter believes the most significant changes come from communities. They co-create strategies, buildings and neighbourhoods with end-users to build strong and fair cities. This talk will dive into the process behind community based developments like the group of ‘Schoonschip’ pioneers who created Europe’s most sustainable floating neighborhood in Amsterdam and the inclusive mixed-use Sample project that features a circular hub and a productive plinth. Projects that utilize the energy transition to catalyze social cohesion.
