Volumetric video is the next big thing in media. With volumetric video you can see real people directly in 3D so that they can be seen 1 on 1 in Augmented and Virtual Reality. With volumetric video you populate the Metaverse, not with avatars, but with virtual people. Yet AR/VR are not the only platforms where volumetric video has added value for SFX, volumetric offers completely new possibilities, as we will also show.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) plays a more important role in media organisations. For example, in the automatic creation, personalisation, distribution and archiving of media content.
