Design Innovation Sessions | DDW 2026
20–22 October | Dutch Design Week, Eindhoven
From Tuesday 20 to Thursday 22 October, CLICKNL organised the Design Innovation Sessions at Natlab during Dutch Design Week 2026. The three sessions attracted considerable interest, with fully booked venues. Each morning focused on different societal challenges. From circular textiles and generative AI to innovation in healthcare, designers, researchers and other professionals came together to exchange knowledge and experiences and explore new perspectives.
The three themed days focused on Thriving Planet, Digital Futures and Health & Well-Being. Through inspiring speakers, practical examples and group discussions, we explored how design, research and technology can contribute to societal change.

KEY THEMES
The Design Innovation Sessions brought together design, research and practice to explore how design-led approaches can contribute to societal change and innovation. Through keynotes, inspiring projects and group discussions, we explored how these approaches are being applied to complex challenges, from health and well-being to circularity and sustainable transitions.
What new methods and applications are being developed? And how can design, design research and innovation contribute to meaningful change?
