CLICKNL Café Dutch Media Week

Imaging and Applications

Imaging is inextricably linked to how we relate to each other as humans. Imaging can be examined from a data perspective, by analyzing iconic images and framing in large amounts of media data. For example, using modern AI techniques, such as image recognition. But you can also look at it from the applications we use. Is the image that an application paints me, perhaps in the capacity of a robot or via a virtual world, what I should expect from it? Four researchers share their findings from recent research in which media is central.
