How can creative professionals tempt people to eat more sustainably? How can health be taken into account when designing buildings? How does design facilitate the energy transition, and how can the creative industry help agents with their safety?
SAFETY | HEALTH & CARE AGRICULTURE, WATER & FOOD | ENERGY TRANSITION & SUSTAINABILITY
CLICKNL is organizing the sixth edition of the Design Research & Innovation Festival DRIVE on 24 October 2019! This year we are again presenting a program full of state-of-the-art research and innovation. This year the themes from the Mission Driven Innovation Policy are central:
- Agriculture, water & food;
- Health & healthcare;
- Energy & sustainability;
The 25 missions that are linked to these themes demand par excellence for social innovation: we must get people moving. Central to this is the resilience of society that is to be given shape; how do you get the whole of society along? How do you ensure that not only your nephew understands that the future will look different, but also your aunt's neighbor? And how do you ensure that as a society you remain so flexible and resilient that you can respond quickly to changes that you did not see coming in advance?
The creative industry is the party that can help with this. But to make this contribution to our economy and society - also in the future - a solid knowledge base is needed. DRIVE is the place for creative professionals to gain new insights and to network with researchers, and for researchers to make the connection with the creative industry.
