Themes CIIIC Training Modules

As an applicant, you can choose from the six themes below. You may have a great deal of knowledge to share across several themes, perhaps even all six. However, we ask you to select a maximum of three themes. This helps ensure that the training modules collectively align well with the learning needs of the field.

  • Increasing knowledge and understanding of IX among clients and/or professionals. Do you regularly explain to clients what IX is, what opportunities it offers and what it requires of them? This theme focuses on developing learning models that help professionals recognise the potential of IX and apply it effectively in their own practice.
  • Collaborative development across the entire IX value chain and throughout the full IX development cycle, from idea to application. Have you taken a project from initial idea through to delivery? And do you know how and with whom to collaborate? This theme focuses on developing learning models that support effective and purposeful collaboration across the IX value chain. This ranges from design, onboarding and user experience to market introduction. The learning models strengthen the knowledge, skills and competencies needed to develop IX concepts and successfully put them into practice.
  • Translating (urgent societal) challenges from practice into compelling IX concepts. Do you work with clients or professionals who have a challenge but do not yet know what IX could offer them? This theme focuses on developing learning models that help creators and professionals translate real-world challenges into compelling and appropriate IX concepts that can deliver tangible value in practice.
  • Distribution & infrastructure. Do you know how to get an IX production to the right audience and how to make it scalable? This theme focuses on promising learning models that help IX concepts be applied more effectively and rapidly at scale. The learning models will be developed, implemented and evaluated.
  • Reuse, further development & scaling. Do you develop components that can be reused in a future production or for a different application? This theme focuses on learning models that support the modular development of IX concepts and their application in different contexts. For example, by reusing components of a (serious) game for a societal application. The learning models strengthen the knowledge, skills and competencies of professionals across the IX value chain in the reuse and further development of IX concepts.
  • Public values. Do you know how to safeguard safety, responsible use or accessibility in your projects? This theme focuses on learning models that strengthen the knowledge, skills and competencies of professionals across the entire IX value chain. This enables them to embed public values, such as safety, responsible use and accessibility, in their projects.
