CIIIC Training Modules

Are you an Immersive Experiences (IX) creator looking to share your knowledge and experience with the sector? Through this tender, we are selecting creators from the IX field who want to further develop existing training concepts into practice-oriented training modules. These training modules are designed to equip professionals in the field with specific knowledge and skills from the IX domain. CLICKNL facilitates the process and is responsible for the assessment and selection.

The aim of the training modules

With the CIIIC Training Modules, we aim to make knowledge and skills from the IX field accessible to a broader group of professionals. The modules address specific knowledge and skills needs in the field and focus on direct application in practice.

The training modules focus both on specific IX skills, such as knowledge of technical requirements, and on skills needed to successfully apply IX, such as increasing clients’ understanding of IX. In this way, the CIIIC Training Modules help make knowledge and experience from the field more widely available and applicable.

The training modules are intended for creative professionals, clients from a range of application areas, trainers and other professionals across the IX value chain.

Who can apply for this call?

This tender is intended for entrepreneurs and creators with demonstrable expertise and experience in IX.

Have you already developed a training course, workshop or other learning experience? For example, an onboarding programme for a client or a workshop for new users? And do you see opportunities to develop this further into a fully fledged training module for the sector? If so, we invite you to apply for this tender.

If you do not yet have experience in developing training programmes, you can collaborate with a public or private educational institution or training provider. Please note that publicly funded organisations are not eligible to receive funding under this scheme.

Part of CIIIC Human Capital

This tender is part of Creative Industries Immersive Impact Coalition's (CIIIC) Human Capital action line, which focuses on developing talent and skills in IX. The development of these training modules is one of the building blocks of this approach. To ensure that these building blocks come together successfully across networks, projects and ideas, it is important to create synergy and coherence. That is why this tender uses the same themes as the CIIIC Learning Communities.

Themes

As an applicant, you can choose from the six themes below. You may have a great deal of knowledge to share across several themes, perhaps even all six. However, we ask you to select a maximum of three themes. This helps ensure that the training modules collectively align well with the learning needs of the field.

  • Increasing knowledge and understanding of IX among clients and/or professionals;
  • Collaborative development across the entire IX value chain and throughout the full IX development cycle, from idea to application;
  • Translating (urgent societal) challenges from practice into compelling IX concepts;
  • Distribution & infrastructure;
  • Reuse, further development & scaling; and
  • Public values.

Planning

Expression of interest | Period: mid-October - mid-November 2026
Applicants can express their interest from 14 October onwards through an online survey by answering a number of questions and providing a brief explanation. Selected applicants will then be invited to submit a proposal for Development Phase 1.

Development Phase 1 | Period: March - May 2027
In this phase, applicants will develop a Proof of Concept for the training module based on an existing concept. A budget of €35,000 (incl. VAT) per applicant is available for a maximum of 36 applicants.

Development Phase 2 | Period: August - November 2027
Following the assessment and selection in Phase 1, 15 applicants will further develop their Proof of Concept into training modules and deliver the final modules. A budget of €55,000 (incl. VAT) per applicant is available for a maximum of 15 applicants.

At the end of the programme, CLICKNL and CIIIC will organise a knowledge-sharing event. Here, we will present the training modules that have been developed and the community will have the opportunity to try them out. Keep an eye on our social media channels and newsletter for more information and the exact date.
