SECOND CALL FOR HERITAGE AND VR/AR/MR PROJECTS

The Field Lab Virtual Worlds has been set up to gather knowledge of and experience with the added value of VR/AR applications in a cultural and educative context. Both for heritage institutions and for VR makers. We do so by sharing knowledge, but also by developing concrete proof of concepts. In order to realize these PoCs calls are issued. Proposals can be submitted from 26 March until 15 May, 2018.

Second Call for Proposals
Three projects will be honored in the second call. For each project €10.000,- will be available for private parties (VR/AR/MR makers). The matching for the private sector is 50% = €10.000,- in extra hours by private parties, and/or ANBIs (Public Benefit Organizations) – for example heritage institutions with ANBI status.

Who may apply?
The application is submitted by a heritage institution in partnership with a VR/AR/MR maker. VR/AR/MR makers have the possibility to top the project by means of the MIT scheme.

Application conditions
• Deadline: the call is open from 26 April until 15 May, 2018.
• VR companies are allowed to accept no more than 1 project.
