OPEN | Innovation Credit Subsidy Scheme
Are you working on the technical development of a new product, process or service? Or on the clinical development of a medicine or device?
Then you may be eligible for the Innovation Credit (Innovatiekrediet) from the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO).
The Innovation Credit is a government funding instrument for innovative projects with significant technical risks and strong market potential. It is available to all companies — from start-ups to established businesses — that are developing promising technological or clinical innovations.
Through this scheme, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy aims to strengthen the innovative capacity of Dutch businesses and contribute to sustainable economic growth. The credit supports projects in a phase where innovations cannot yet be fully financed through own means or the market.

RVO distinguishes between technical development projects and clinical development projects. The credit percentage depends on the size of your enterprise and whether the project is carried out in collaboration with others.
