Take-off hbo
You have an idea for an innovation based on research results, which is a possible solution to a social problem. But is it feasible in practice? Can you really make an impact with it? Take-off HBO offers you the financial scope to conduct a feasibility study. In this way you map out the technical and economic opportunities and risks of your idea. With this scheme, the Taskforce for Applied Research SIA stimulates the effect of practice-oriented research in practice. The current round closes 29 March, 2022.
Financing of research
Students and researchers at a university of applied sciences can apply for a Take-off HBO grant twice a year. The subsidy is made available to the university of applied sciences. You can apply for a minimum of €10,000 and a maximum of €40,000.
Assessment
All applications declared admissible will submit to an independent assessment committee. This committee consists of enterprising researchers from various research fields, entrepreneurs, external experts and private financiers. After a written round of comments, they invite you to talk to the assessment committee. These interviews are an important part of the assessment process.
