Creative Power in Societal Transitions
Creative professionals play a key role in addressing societal challenges – driving innovation and change. At the same time, this role is not always straightforward in practice. Working in transdisciplinary teams with diverse interests and expectations can put pressure on the creative process. Designers often face high performance demands and unclear role expectations, which can hinder collaboration and impact.
This project explores how creative professionals can be better supported in fulfilling their role in complex societal transitions. By speaking with designers and commissioners, the project maps out task demands and expectations. What is needed to collaborate effectively in these transitions? Which skills and processes make the biggest difference?
The outcomes will contribute to a sustainable strategy for strengthening the position and effectiveness of creative professionals. This includes knowledge on role division, communication, and collaboration – as well as practical tools and methods to help manage pressure and complexity.
€50,000,- will be used as a PPP program grant.
