SIDN Fund: Open Call & Responsible AI

Looking for funding for a groundbreaking internet project with social value? The SIDN Fund call is now open! In addition to the open call (for all applications that align with the fund’s objectives), you can also still submit projects with the year theme of 2018, Responsible AI.

Artificial Intelligence is currently going through a number of important and fast developments. New applications of AI emerge every day, and AI is becoming more common in day-to-day life as well. Siri, the smart speech assistant is a good example of this. The benefits are evident. Smart algorithms can be used to make life easier, more efficient, safer, healthier and more sustainable. But AI also raises questions about the impact on society and the relationship between people and technology.

Pioneers or Potentials
Apply for a Pioneers or a Potentials project:

Pioneers
• A promising idea, focused on development to a pilot or experimental design
• Aimed at the development of a good idea, max €10.000,-
• Applications by person or organization

Potentials
• Project with clear possibilities, backed by a proof of concept
• Further development/scaling of a proven concept, max €75.000,-
• Applications by organizations
