Open Call Innovation Labs: for a resilient sector

Do you have ideas that could boost new resilience in the cultural and creative sector? Then the Innovation Labs programme is looking for you. On behalf of all national cultural funds, the Creative Industries Fund NL and CLICKNL invite makers and institutions to develop applicable knowledge and working methods that benefit the agility and resilience of the entire sector. Applications from all artistic and creative disciplines are welcome. The call closes on 11 November, 2021. Visit www.innovatielabs.org for more information.

From the redesign of physical spaces to alternative public activities and from new revenue models to hybrid presentation forms: the open call of the Innovation Labs programme focuses on new collaborative projects, but also existing initiatives that make a difference if they are further developed, tested or scaled up. The call offers opportunities for research and experimentation in the field of digitisation, spatial design and product differentiation. The outcome may be open, as long as the knowledge and insights gained are also relevant for others.

Knowledge development and sharing
The open call is part of Innovation Labs, a larger programme that aims to boost resilience in the cultural and creative sector. Based on the idea that the entire sector benefits from open knowledge sharing, the programme focuses on collaboration and active knowledge exchange. This takes place between the selected projects that have been awarded funding, but also with other players within and outside the sector. A special sub-programme and an accompanying research trajectory, coordinated by CLICKNL, contribute to this.
