New network: Music Tech Nederland

More and more artists, venues, tech companies, educational and knowledge institutions are exploring the use of new technologies in music. This exploration is leading to new ways of creating, presenting and experiencing music. And this in turn offers opportunities for new organizational and thus financing models, of great importance for a resilient and future-proof music sector.

Despite the growing attention to the use of new technology in the music sector, its potential remains largely untapped. Several organizations are treading the same paths simultaneously and independently. Discovering other similar innovative projects often happens by chance. The landscape is as fragmented as the sector itself, which hinders the effective transfer of knowledge. As a result, promising initiatives, often with limited organizational and financial capacity due to their experimental nature, cannot bring their concepts to maturity.

A new network
Time to join forces. Music Tech Nederland is a network that brings artists, venues, tech companies, educational and knowledge institutions together to learn, share knowledge and possibly collaborate. Music Tech Netherlands collaborates with Music Tech Belgium, and is part of the European Music Tech partnership.

ESNS 2024
Music Tech Netherlands starts in 2024, the program will be presented during ESNS, January 2024.
