Design Challenge

In January 2024, What Design Can Do will launch the fifth Climate Action Challenge named 'Redesign Everything Challenge' in partnership with the IKEA Foundation. With this global design competition, they are seeking bold, circular solutions to address the climate crisis and unlock new pathways for systemic change.

Creatives have a vital role to play in climate action. From 17 January 2024, changemakers everywhere are invited to submit ideas to radically redesign the world we live in — our products, materials, stories, systems, services and spaces — through a circular and regenerative lens.

Winning projects will receive an award package consisting of €5.000 in funding in addition to professional mentorship, publicity, a boot camp hosted in Amsterdam, speaking opportunities and more.
