We strengthen the knowledge base of changemakers from the broad field of design, making and change power
The KIEM Social Earning Capacity (KIEM MV) grant scheme builds on the KIEM GoCI grant scheme previously implemented by Regieorgaan SIA. This scheme was aimed at strengthening the knowledge base of the creative industry. In the further development into KIEM MV it was decided to focus on strengthening the knowledge base of changemakers from the broad field of design, making and change. Changemakers are professionals who are involved in social issues and transitions from a formal role, and collaborate in organizing and accelerating them. They are needed to make innovations relevant and applicable, so that there is social embedding. Read more about this in the call for proposals.
The KIEM MV scheme was developed in close cooperation with CLICKNL, the Creative Industry Top Sector Institute for Knowledge and Innovation (TKI).
Purpose of KIEM MV
The purpose of this scheme is the (exploratory) investigation of new practice questions through practice-oriented research activities. These research activities are carried out by a network of knowledge institutions and practice partners. Regieorgaan SIA stimulates with this KIEM instrument both networking and the exploration of practical questions that can be a KIEM for a follow-up project or an innovation.
