OPEN CALL: SBIR SUSTAINABLE INSULATION COATS FOR HEALTHCARE

The outbreak of COVID-19 has created a great demand in the Netherlands for personal protective equipment (PPE) that reduces the transmission of viruses. The Minister of Medical Care and Sports and the State Secretary for Economic Affairs and Climate are looking for sustainable alternatives for insulating coats with guaranteed delivery for the Netherlands. There are many opportunities here for the creative industries! Are you involved in, for example, circular design, new materials or textiles? Then you may have the solution in mind. Submit your quote no later than 14 December.

Duration of the assignment
The duaton will be from October 2020 to the first quarter of 2022. If the funding from the SBIR stops, it is important that you as a company also have the motivation to make a success of your innovation and to continue.

Phase
The call concerns phase 1 for SBIR: feasibility study. For an explanation of the phases and the procedure, see page 'How does SBIR work?' on the website of RVO.

Budget
A total budget of € 1,000,000 is available. A budget of € 150,000 (including VAT) is available for phase 1. The maximum amount per feasibility study (phase 1) is € 25,000 (including VAT). € 850,000 (including VAT) is available for phase 2, the maximum amount per project proposal will be determined in more detail.
