OPEN CALL: PROFESSIONALISATION DESIGN PRACTICE # 7 (IN CO/ POST-COVID-19-TIMES)

The Creative Industries Fund NL provides an extra impulse to the practical deepening and professionalisation of designers and design studios within the fields of design, architecture and digital culture in co/post Covid-19 times. They recognise that this exceptional situation creates new challenges and want to support designers and studios in strengthening and innovating their practice. Designers and studios can submit proposals until Tuesday, 17 November 2020 to develop a distinctive strategy to achieve a future-proof practice in co/post-covid-19 times.

Developing a long-term vision and strategy is important to your design practice. In a professional practice you plan time for both your artistic development and your development as an entrepreneur. How do you find the right balance between the two in this co/post covid-19 period? What vision do you have for the future and with which strategy will you achieve it? Studying interaction, acquisition, stimulating entrepreneurship in covid-19 times, how do you do that without large public gatherings?

The fund is working on a future-proof design field by boosting connections between culture, entrepreneurship and society. By enabling exemplary research in the field of reflection and in-depth practice, the fund aims to strengthen the design field.

This call for professionalisation is being issued for the seventh time and is aimed at all fields of the creative industries. View the assignments of the latest calls here.

Budget
The maximum contribution is € 7,500. The Creative Industries Fund aims to support a maximum of 27 projects. Applications cannot be submitted for regular business costs, such as renting a studio, office expenses, the development of a corporate identity and website, obtaining legal advice or the further development of an existing design.
