Subversive crime
This call aims to develop knowledge of the foundations, drivers, mechanisms and structures of undermining criminal phenomena, systems, networks and modus operandi. This knowledge feeds, and is also fed by, the development of new action perspectives, intervention possibilities, (technological) tools and methods. Through an integrated approach from the technical, social and humanities disciplines throughout the knowledge chain, subversive crime is reduced and the resilience of citizens, the business community and public administration is increased.
Who can apply?
Pre-proposals and full proposals are submitted by the main applicant and one or more co-applicants. A proposal is written by a consortium in which besides the applicants other participants are involved as well. Besides the main applicant and co-applicant(s) a consortium always consists of two or more co-funders, possibly supplemented by one or more collaborating partners.
What to apply for?
For an application in this call, a minimum of € 637.500 and a maximum of € 3.400.000 can be applied for. With this, NWO finances maximally 85% of the total project budget; the rest of the funding must be contributed by the compulsory co-funding . NWO never funds less than 50% of the total project budget.
