Designing the Stack | Designing for societal technology applications

How can the creative industries contribute to the design of digital environments based on public values — and what does this mean for mental healthcare?

During this networking event, the partners of Designing the Stack bring together professionals from the creative industries with healthcare organisations, patient and family associations, and other societal organisations. The aim of the meeting is to connect, exchange perspectives and further explore the central questions of the project. In doing so, the event marks the first step towards building a community of practice: an ongoing network in which participants can share experiences, knowledge and working methods throughout the project.

During the programme, the Designing the Stack initiative will be introduced and the partners involved will briefly present themselves. Through a plenary discussion and an interactive workshop, participants will reflect on the content and approach of the project and explore opportunities for collaboration between designers, researchers and healthcare organisations.

The event offers space to exchange experiences, create new connections and jointly explore how design and creative methods can contribute to questions around public value–driven technology and health. The session concludes with a networking lunch.
