Topicality Grant Netspar
Topicality projects aim to formulate solutions for pressing, strictly defined issues within the Netspar (Network for Pensions, Aging and Retirement) research agenda. They are also intended to promote partnership between scholars and professional experts. This scheme is ongoing. Netspar aims to award approximately 7 projects annually.
Topics and procedure
Once a year, the Partner Research Council helps us compile a long list (in November) and then a short list (in February) of relevant topics. The Netspar Board of Directors then approaches the right researchers for the selected projects. Researchers are also free to submit research proposals on their own. More information about projects previously awarded can be found in the Netspar project database.
Output
A topicality project is expected to produce three forms of output:
- One or more Netspar industry papers;
- At least two working group meetings at which researchers and industry experts brainstorm on the papers to be produced;
- Presentation of the completed papers at a Netspar event.
