CIRCO Explained

Our global economy is based on a linear economic model - turning raw materials into goods that are used, consumed and then discarded. As a result, we keep throwing away (scarce) materials. With CIRCO, we work towards a circular model: we maximize the lifespan of products. CIRCO activates and facilitates manufacturing companies, circular entrepreneurs and creative professionals to work more concretely with circular design to simultaneously increase their (long term) competitiveness and reduce footprint.

To go deeper into how CIRCO does this, we made a video about the program. We invited program manager Pieter van Os and CIRCO trainer Jorien Nijmeijer to do so.
