Open call stokroos foundation
Do you have a good plan in which designers realise new work, possibly together with one or more (cultural) organisations? The Stokroos Foundation is curious about proposals aimed at the realisation of those plans. With this call, the Stokroos Foundation wants to help make ambitious projects by or with designers and organisations possible. You can respond until 10 May 2020.
The call
The Stokroos Foundation annually supports many talented artists and designers in creating new work and in the development of their professional practice. To this end, they make small donations, award grants or contribute to promising third-party initiatives. This call is in addition to the existing instruments and enables the Stokroos Foundation to substantially support a number of carefully selected projects. The purpose of this call is to enable designers to initiate, develop and / or realise new and ambitious projects. The Stokroos Foundation challenges interested parties to come up with special, socially relevant project proposals (whether or not through collaboration).
Call setup
The Stokroos Foundation is making € 120,000 available for this open call. The maximum contribution per project is € 50,000, but never covers more than 50% of the total costs.
The actualisation of the projects can vary in content and form. This could include an intervention in public space, an assignment, an exhibition, a debate, a documentary, a book, product or service.
It is possible to work with international partners. However, the project must have a predominantly Dutch interest, especially with regard to the participating makers.

The application can be submitted up to and including Sunday 10 May 2020 via the online application environment of the Stokroos Foundation. Select the form for 'Special projects'.
