Open call creative solutions for coronavirus

The coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) and the measures taken to combat it have a major impact on healthcare and our society. In order to limit the negative consequences, short term creative solutions are needed for resource shortages and other practical problems in and outside hospitals.

Creative solutions required
The Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport has made extra funds available to provide creative solutions to the aforementioned challenges with regard to the coronavirus (COVID-19). On the one hand, this concerns practical technological solutions in (hospital) care, such as medical devices. On the other hand, it is about innovative ideas to help vulnerable groups and their caregivers in receiving and providing the right care and support. This concerns solutions that fall outside regular healthcare and welfare activities.
Do you have a creative solution for the practical challenges in and outside hospitals? Then you can claim a financial stimulus.

Two financial stimuli
Two financial stimuli are available.
A starting stimulus of a maximum of € 7,500 (including VAT). This stimulus is intended for the development and possible application of pilots of an idea.
A project stimulus from € 7,500 to € 15,000 (including VAT). An important condition for this project stimulus is that the creative solution meets the needs of the target group.
