In the making: magazine on the application of methods in practice

Around summer, under the banner of Key Enabling Methodologies (KEMs), we will release a magazine on the application of methods in practice. The magazine is intended as a guide for project teams working on social issues and builds on insights from the 2024 KEM sessions. In addition to inspiring case descriptions, it offers ten concrete tools for selecting and applying KEMs in collaborative projects.

The magazine will be presented at an event (in the making).

Need to move from paper to practice

In recent years, much energy has been put into strengthening the knowledge base around Key Enabling Methodologies (KEMs). Among other things, this has led to a renewed KEM agenda and the launch of an associated network. From this solid foundation, it is time for the next step: strengthening the application of KEMs in practice. How do we optimally deploy these methods to address, scale and accelerate societal transitions? Because the knowledge base is only really put to good use if we succeed in getting from paper to practice.
