DRIVE 2018: Call for Proposals

For DRIVE 2018, we are looking for researchers, designers, innovation managers and others to share their latest insights. Submit your proposal now!

This year again, the Design Research & Innovation Festival DRIVE will take place in October, during the Dutch Design Week. The festival spotlights state-of-the-art research and innovations within the creative industry, spreading knowledge and creating interaction and dialogue. Since DRIVE celebrates its fifth anniversary this year, we invite you all to co-create this festival! Come celebrate design research and innovation with us, on October 24 and 25, in Natlab, Eindhoven.

TOPICS
For this edition of DRIVE we invite you to share innovations and research concerning the Inclusive and Sustainable Society, addressing the following societal challenges from CLICKNL’s Knowledge & Innovation Agenda:
• Circular Society
• Healthy Behavior
• Resilience in Society
• Energy & behavior
• Personal Experience
• Human Empowerment

DRIVE FORMAT
Thanks to DRIVE’s festival character, visitors can pick & mix from 4x4 blocks of parallel programming of an hour. Within each block we strive for:
• presentations and cases of both research and innovation projects
• speakers with various backgrounds: from companies, design professionalsnan researchers from Universities as well as Universities of Applied Sciences.

The critical DRIVE audience expects high level, inspiring and interactive presentations, workshops and discussions in English. Please think of ways to involve them.

SUBMIT YOUR PROPOSAL
The call for proposals opens on April 3rd, and closes May 9th at noon (12 pm). Proposals for interactive blocks, presentations, workshops and discussions are welcome.
