CALL PPS PROJECTS AGRICULTURE, WATER, FOOD

The top sectors Agri & Food, Horticulture & Starting Materials and Water & Maritime opened their first joint call on 1 April 2020 for PPP projects that fulfil the new Knowledge and Innovation Agenda for Agriculture, Water, Food. The call is intended for research projects in which companies, sector organisations, NGOs and public organisations collaborate with recognised research organisations. The projects will be implemented as public-private partnerships (PPP). In this call, the three top sectors will work together for the first time in order to realise the new, joint Knowledge and Innovation Agenda for Agriculture, Water and Food.

The submission process consists of two phases. In the first phase, a project idea is submitted with a brief description of the intended research, the (designated) participating project partners and knowledge institutions and a budget calculation. The deadline for submitting project ideas is 31 May. Applicants will then receive feedback on the suitability of the proposal relating to the priorities of the call, but the feedback may also consist of suggestions for cooperation with other consortia. Subsequently, until 14 September 2020, the applicants will have the opportunity to develop the project idea into a research proposal.
