9 speakers confirmed DRIVE 2023

The list of names for our Design Research & Innovation Festival gets longer and longer...

On Tuesday, Oct. 24 (Future Living Environments) we will meet Sanne van Manen. She will talk about how the Rooftop Catalogue and the Roofscape software are being used to help municipalities make concrete plans to make better use of vast urban rooftops.

On Thursday, Oct. 26, DRIVE is dedicated to "Digital Society," and you'll find Jacky Bourgeois (Delft University of Technology) on stage, among others. He addresses the transformation of our everyday lives as a result of technological advances. With the rise of the Internet of Things (IoT), mobile applications and sensors can capture detailed aspects of individual routines. This ranges from eating habits to exercise patterns and even emotional moods. This constant stream of data is intricately intertwined with individuals themselves, influencing their behavior and experiences. This data landscape represents a valuable resource for subjective research purposes.
