World Design Congress
The World Design Congress returns to London for the first time in over 50 years – and brings with it a powerful call to action. Under the theme Design for Planet, the 2025 edition unites design innovators, business leaders and researchers from around the globe to share ideas, confront the climate crisis, and inspire action.
Across two days, the Congress offers keynotes from leading voices in sustainability and design – including Thomas Heatherwick, Charlot Magayi, Norman Foster, Tori Tsui and Indy Johar. The programme includes dynamic break-out sessions, cross-sector exchange, and a focus on designing for a regenerative future.
Key themes include:
- Innovation for zero emissions
- Circular design and fair economies
- Regenerating biodiversity and community care
Design shapes the world – and this Congress challenges the global design field to do just that, with the climate and nature crises at the centre.
