Synergy

Synergy, the NWO event for researchers and policy developers, will take place on 16 June 2022. Enjoy a diverse programme of activities, acquire new insights and explore opportunities for impact. Expand your network, establish new collaborations with likeminded professionals and exchange knowledge and experience.

During this year’s event, the important aim of interacting with each other in person and sharing knowledge will be even more important than in previous years. After a long period of online meetings, we now hope to organise this event physically. To make this fifth edition stand out, we opted for a co-created event with plenty of opportunity for interaction and establishing connections. After all, interaction presents improvement: supporting each other in the awareness that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. This special edition has a unique vibe and you will return home feeling inspired and invigorated.

About the programme
The Synergy event has an open character and starts in the early afternoon in the Synergy Café. You will be seated at tables around the central podium among people from the research and education sector, government, top sectors, and social partners. Synergy will be opened by two opinionated keynote speakers, who have been invited to take a stand based on their vision and provide challenging questions to the audience. Arguments and opinions will be shared and collected at every table. A nice opportunity to share your ideas and get to know other participants!

After this introduction, you will be offered the opportunity to attend one of the breakout sessions or join the discussions in the central meeting area. Of course, after the breakout sessions, we will all gather around the central podium for the Synergy finale – including voting and announcing this year’s Synergy Award winner!

Who participates in Synergy?
Researchers from all fields and domains with a research interest in people, culture and society. All research organisations, knowledge institutions, universities of applied sciences and universities.
