Storyspace Dutch Film Festival
Storyspace Nederlands Film Festival
From September 20 to 26, the Storyspace exhibition can be visited at both Neude Library and De LiK, which features VR documentaries, immersive installations, gaming, and performances. Many of these works are accessible for free.
De LiK features Dance Dance Revolution (Lisa Weeda, BrotherTill) and the VR opera Songs for a Passerby. The work by Celine Daemen, of Silbersee, won the Venice Immersive Grand Prize at the Venice Film Festival in 2023. That same year, Flow VR by Adriaan Lokman was also nominated, to be experienced in the main hall of Neude Library.
All the works exhibited in Storyspace you can find here.
In addition, there are several talks to attend that are centered on digital culture, in addition to the Storyspace Sessions, which are entirely devoted to the presentations of the NFF Fellows. For example, Satore Studio's founder, Tupac Martir, is coming to speak about his incredibly wide variety of work and collaborations on Saturday, September 21. Or come to the NFF Conference on September 24, where we will learn about the new Distribution Scheme associated with the Immerse/Interact programme of the Filmfonds and the Fonds Creatieve Industrie in the session “Distribution of Immersive Experiences.”
All digital culture talks at the NFF can be found here.
