PONT at Dutch Design Week
PONT | Better Governance by Design
During Dutch Design Week 2025, PONT is hosting an inspiration session for civil servants and designers who want to collaborate on meaningful change. How can a design approach contribute to better governance in a society that is constantly evolving?
Three international experts will share their vision and practical experience:
- Christian Bason (former CEO Danish Design Center and director MindLab) on cross-sectoral collaboration and innovation in the public domain.
- Lucy Kimbell (Director Social Design Institute, University of the Arts London) on the role of design in social innovation, policy development and organizational challenges.
- Marco Steinberg (Founder and CEO Snowcone, Finland) on major transition challenges and working with governments worldwide.
Moderated by Nynke Tromp, Program Director of PONT, we will explore how design can help governments act more proactively, responsively, and flexibly. The session also includes inspiring examples from Dutch public design practices, alongside lessons learned from the PONT program.
This event is part of Dutch Design Week 2025. After the morning program, participants are invited to explore the exhibitions in Eindhoven, either independently or with a guided Design Tour.
