Kennis Maken | Nationale Citizen Science Expo
Citizen science is thriving in the Netherlands. More and more people are measuring, researching, and discovering together – in neighborhoods, natural environments, or using sensor networks across the country. During the first edition of the National Citizen Science Expo, one key question takes center stage: what is the current state of citizen science in the Netherlands?
Under the theme ‘The State of Citizen Science in the Netherlands’, this event brings together participants from across the field. From grassroots initiatives and civil society organizations to researchers, policymakers, and funding bodies – anyone involved in citizen science is welcome. The goal: to share experiences, exchange knowledge, and strengthen collaboration between all parties involved.
The programme includes:
- Co-creation sessions, demonstrations, performances, and panel discussions
- (Poster) presentations and knowledge sharing
- A Visual Expo and opportunities to connect
The primary language of the event is Dutch. However, several sessions will be available in English.
