Making a difference with design

Designing from Venus' point of view

Bulletproof vests that are too tight for the torso of female police officers, bicycle helmets that do not have room for a ponytail, crash-test dummies with only male characteristics, drugs that are not tested on women, products that are role-confirming. As a designer and researcher by design, I have often wondered why female users are not looked at more closely in the design process.

We would like to invite you to the Event "Making a difference with designs" on Thursday, 2 September, 2021, which will take place in the Wilminktheater / Muziekcentrum, location De Kleine Willem, Langestraat 45 in Enschede.

Designing from Venus' point of view
The theme 'Designing from the Venus' point of view' is discussed from an ethical, social and design perspective, among others by designers such as Tatiana Butovitsch Temm designer Your Concept Car VolvoCars. by dr.
