Information and consultation meeting

Innovative immersive solutions for the Police

Thinking along on innovative immersive solutions for the Police?

The Dutch Police is looking for innovative technologies to better prepare officers for their work and let them work smarter with data. In cooperation with the Ministry of OCW and the Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland (RVO), a market consultation is therefore organized on immersive technologies, such as virtual and augmented reality.

Soraya Wattilete of the RVO explains why this market consultation is important: "The market consultation is the moment for us to explore what is technically possible for a certain topic and, together with entrepreneurs and other experts, come up with a clear and inspiring call. ”

Help think about IX and the future of policing. An information and consultation meeting will be held on March 27 in Utrecht, exploring the technical and economic possibilities for a new Innovation Impact Challenge. There is interest in innovative solutions that:

  • Allow officers to train faster and more realistically
  • Are real-time and user-friendly
  • Smartly combine data and environmental information
