kick-off meeting
COMBINED - NWA program Climate and Nature
Climate, nature and human well-being are inextricably linked, but also constantly changing. Successfully addressing climate change and biodiversity loss therefore requires an adaptive and integrated approach. The COMBINED project investigates the interactions between climate, nature and people in landscapes with grasslands, forests and urban wildlife. Within the temporary partnership, work is underway to create a future in which Dutch landscapes increase in biodiversity, are climate-robust and form a healthy living environment.
During the project's kick-off meeting, the LVVN ministry explains the question and the project leader tells more about the research.
Background Info
Climate change will increasingly affect the quality of nature. It is important to pursue integrated and sustainable solutions and strategies that address the root causes and contribute to biodiversity, climate change mitigation, and climate adaptation, as well as social values such as justice, prosperity, and well-being. Within the NWA Climate and Nature program, the project COMBINED was honored.
