HEALTH TUESDAY - CHATBOTS IN HEALTHCARE: CONVERSATIONAL DESIGN

Technology is changing the way we communicate, but the way we communicate with our technology is changing as well. At the moment we control our devices through touchscreens, keyboards and touchpads, but in the future we will be using our voices more and more. The use of conversational technology, such as chat bots, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and voice control, makes technology more accessible to vulnerable groups. Together with Greenberry we took a look at opportunities for health and welfare.

By using Greenberry’s practical examples and inspirational (international) cases from the world of health and healthcare one gains an insight into the opportunities and best practices in the area of conversational design. Alain Dujardin shares lessons Greenberry learned when developing the Cliniclowns App and the App Holiday Doctor for Zilveren Kruis. These lessons, combined with international best practices of conversational design in the healthcare sector form the basis of a design session in which you can take matters into your own hands.

Interactive session: Case & Design Sprint
How do you bring children that are ill in contact with clowns in an appropriate way? How do you ensure people can safely and securely ask Dutch GPs about their healthcare issues, even on holiday? During this interactive session you use knowledge from practical examples and you work with a question from Greenberry and a question from one of their clients.
