Getting started with the Digital Product Passport

Starting this year, the digital product passport (DPP) is mandatory. The DPP clarifies, among other things, how the product is made and where it comes from. This law is required by the EU with the aim of contributing to the creation of a circular economy.

On October 1, Modint, in cooperation with GS1, is organising a meeting for textile and apparel companies, informing them about the mandatory Digital Product Passport.

What can you already do to collect data on the sustainability of your products? What impact does the DPP have on textile and clothing design, and what data determines how sustainable a product is? Concrete examples will be discussed and how your chain becomes “transparent” and to whom.

After the program, you will have the chance to visit the DIOR exhibition “A New Look,” followed by drinks and networking opportunities.

More about the programme and registration you'll find on the Modint website.
