Biography

Patrick has been active in the textile industry for over more then 18 years. Firstly as a salesperson towards big retailchains in Eastern and Southern Europe. In a later stage responsible for the production and buying in Asia. Therefore he visited regurlarly production plants in China, India, Bangladesh.

After seeing too many pollution and the greenwashing in the industry he decided to change radically course and started in 2020 with a small sock factory in the Netherlands, called Vodde.

He created a team of senior professionals in Vodde who shared the same idea: the industry has to change and needs to solve the textile waste issue.
Vodde has been awarded many times and supplies nowadays retailers like Zeeman and brands like G-star with the Vodde Yarns and its products. Vodde is a pragmatic frontrunner in Circularity Textiles.
