WAAG

tECHNOLOGICAL CITIZENSHIP

We live in a digital society. Technological developments influence how we organise it. Young people have an interest in participating in the debate and decision-making surrounding these developments. In the Technological Citizenship project, Waag, together with the Rathenau Institute, Designathon, NewTechKids and young people, investigates the role of creative processes in developing citizenship skills among young people in a digital society. Making processes, imagination and art play a role in uncovering relevant topics in the future of the digital society. In the project we investigate this role for the arts and the creative industries. This provides knowledge that strengthens the position of the creative industries related to social challenges.

€79.705 will be used as a PPP programme allowance.
