Agri meets Design

Finished

Our food production faces major challenges. Agri meets Design sets the tone and inspires farmers, citizens and businesses to innovative solutions for the agri and food sector.

Agri meets Design believes that the meeting between the worlds of agriculture and design offers opportunities for a fundamentally different view of our food system. That is why they link social food issues to common sense and creative thinking power.

In 2012, independent designer Sietske Klooster initiated a research-through-design process, supported by the Department of Industrial Design, TU/e. Klooster's practice and research is aimed at developing roles and addressing the creative industry in a systems transformation of the agri-food sector.

Project budget € 111,792, whereby € 60,274 PPS allowance is used.
