Tomorrow’s city! Business life, universities and governments will come together on Thursday 28 September in innovation city Eindhoven. The event will center the innovations of the future, concrete practical applications, and their influence on citizens. Smart City 2017 is the strategic afternoon conference for the energy and mobility sector of the smart city.

Keynote Maarten Steinbuch is known for the manner in which he bridges the gap between science and business life and how he mobilizes them to come together to solve social issues. “People underestimate the speed in which things are changing.” Last year Professor dr. ir. Maarten Steinbuch received the most prestigious prize for technical-scientific research in the Netherlands: the Simon Stevin Meesterprijs. During Smart City 2017 he will share his vision.
