KIC - Energy transition & sustainability

KIC Circularity

The Dutch climate policy has ambitions to realise a 49 percent reduction in CO2 emissions by 2030 and 80 to 95 percent by 2050. In the National Climate Agreement, this has been translated into objectives per sector that have been embraced by a broad group of stakeholders. Innovation plays an important role in this as not all solutions needed for achieving these objectives are available. Two important sectors involved in this are industry and agri-food.
