Food and greenery - thematic issues
For 2-year research of universities of applied sciences together with SMEs or public institutions. The green domain has many socially relevant and urgent issues. For example, how do we ensure climate-robust agriculture? How do we improve nature-inclusive behaviour of citizens? With the Thematic Issues scheme Taskforce for Applied Research SIA is calling on universities of applied sciences to conduct research within a number of established themes in the green domain. The open round closes 14 June, 2022!
The research and the results of this call provide new knowledge and contribute to the updating of education. The research also affects professional practice and leads to concrete action perspectives for professionals.
Themes
For the June 2022 submission round, we will request research proposals within the following 4 themes:
- Circular terrain management
- Sustainable soil management and soil carbon sequestration
- Risk management in climate change
- Making animal production chain more sustainable
Funding of research
Are you a lecturer or researcher at a university of applied sciences? Then you can apply for funding by 14 June, 2022 at the latest. The minimum amount that you can request is € 200,000, the maximum amount is € 500,000. Preparing an application takes an average of 3 to 4 months.
